Twenty Figure 4 rabbit peg snares: These are professional quality peg snares, with a galvanised ‘figure 4’ tealer to naturally give the 6 ½” setting height preferred by professional snaremen. Higher setting heights are easy to achieve by a slight ‘tweak’ of either the tealer or the noose itself. They are fitted with hand spun 6 strand brass nooses. The nooses are easy to re-tension after a catch. The snares are anchored by a hand split ash peg, connected to the tealer by weatherproof baler twine. The fastest catch I have had in these wires was 2 rabbits in 20 minutes, from 10 snares!
